Vidos – DVD with videos to Michael Fakesch’s Album Dos released on K7 Records -–exclusive preview DVD out now! Vidos – an eye’n’earblazing example of how music can be visualised today. Like the enormously successful Isolated DVD released by Funkstörung in 2004, Vidos is a hybrid product, consisting of a booklet and a DVD with 25 videos to the music of Michael Fakesch (formerly of Funkstörung), 7 bonus videos and audio plug-ins.
The video clips on Vidos are done by internationally acclaimed and highly awarded artists, filmmakers, directors, animators and designers such as zeitguised (UK), Quayola (UK), Paolo Lima/MusaWorkLab (Portugal), Brian Bixby/Keep Addinga (USA), Scott Pagano/Neither Field (USA), Mateuniverse/Psyop (USA), Marcelo Baldin (Brasil), Giraffentoast (Germany), Markus Wambsganss/Kaliber16 (Germany), Antonin de Bemels (Belgium), Sam Vanoverschelde/Visual Kitchen (Belgium), Nin.sha & Me (Deutschland). A great part of them have already participated in Isolated.
A wide range of different approaches in visualising music is presented: from high end 3d-animation and updated oldschool videogame aesthetics to surrealistic storytelling, from fontbased photo-film to cutting-edge low-res junk art. The DVD allows the viewer a unique glance into the state of the art in music visualisation.
